Many
of the icons like Computer , control panel , are disappeared from the
desktop of windows 8 . U can bring them back right clicking the desktop ,
choose personalize ,click on change desktop icons (top left side) ,tick
the icons which u want to be on the desktop and click apply , ok.
Many of the shortcuts like run , search ,cmd ,event viewer ,mobility center ,control panel......can be accessed easily by moving the mouse cursor to bottom left side of the screen and right click.
